Have you ever wished you could have insight into the mind of a professional writer to help you improve your skills? Have you ever wondered how a book goes from an idea on the page to a fully finished product that you can hold in your hand? From May 21st to 23rd, there will be a series of intensive activities designed to help participants work alongside like-minded writers.

Vanke Meisha Academy’s 2021 Writers’ Conference is a unique opportunity for students and staff to participate in lectures and workshops given by professionals who are outstanding in their discipline. From prose and poetry, to the publishing industry – there is a little bit of everything for those who are interested in honing their craft. There will be opportunities to read the work we produce over the course of the weekend, as well as to exhibit works in a gallery style setting. If you are a member of the VMA community and love writing, come join us!
